Why Your Time is Valuable

Are you looking for some inspiration when it comes to protecting your schedule?

In this post, I offer three helpful reminders as to why your time is extremely valuable.

You have to take care of yourself.

Everyone has basic needs.

At the very least, you need food, shelter, air, water, and clothing to survive.

In today’s world, that translates to spending your time working for money, and then taking the time to purchase the items you need.

Beyond basic needs, you also need to take care of family members, do housework, run errands, and much, much more.

If you add up all the time you spend taking care of yourself, why, that’s a lot of time!

While things like errands and personal affairs might seem like trivial items, remember they are what allow you to live and flourish.

This care time is extremely important  and can’t be ignored.

Your time belongs to you.

As odd as this may sound, your time is your own. It isn’t anyone else’s.

That being said, you can’t borrow someone else’s time. You most certainly cannot walk into a store and purchase a bag of extra time as needed.

How you choose to spend your time is entirely up to you.

If you think you don’t have time, keep in mind that each and every day, you’re given a wealth of time to use. That’s 24 hours, each and every day, that is available for you to use.

The only question is, how are you going to use it? Are you going to use your time, or are you going to give it to someone else?
