All you have to do is open your eyes, take a look and be willing to view things in a different light.
This is exactly what The Order as Art series here on the blog is all about.
For those new to the blog, the series is where I take a fascinating look at different subjects, patterns, shapes and structures in our world. Organizing tips, ideas and inspiration don’t always have to come in a written format.
In this post, I delve into the world of trains for some orderly inspiration. Who knows, the inspiration for your next organizing project could be just a glance away!
Order as Art: Tandem Trains
Trains are highly organized units. Typically, there’s an engine that comes first, followed by any combination of other cars.
Have you ever looked at the order that exists between two rail cars? The two units have to be attached to one another in one way or another and make for an interesting study in order.
Just look at the detail and symmetrical pattern of these two connected rail cars.
It is order at it’s finest…and quite artistic too!
How about you? Have you ever come across any ordinary structures which suddenly become more interesting when they are presented in a certain manner? Join in the conversation and leave a comment below!
