A lot of inspiration can be found in the world around us.

All you have to do is open your eyes, take a look and be willing to view things in a different light.

This is exactly what The Order as Art series here on the blog is all about.

For those new to the blog, the series is where I take a fascinating look at different subjects, patterns, shapes and structures in our world.

Organizing tips, ideas and inspiration don’t always have to come in a written format.

In this post, I delve into the world of human-powered transport for some orderly inspiration. Who knows, the inspiration for your next organizing project could be just a glance away!

Order as Art: Parallel Pedicabs

Have you ever seen a pedicab? Pedicabs are converted bicycles with a passenger-wagon.

I noticed a neat line of pedicabs awaiting fares in the park the other day. It’s amazing how much character there is in each of these small cabs.

I couldn’t resist capturing this orderly moment, so I snapped a quick photo.

A calm, solitary moment…until the cab drivers pick up their next fare.

How about you? Have you ever come across any ordinary structures which suddenly become more interesting when they are presented in a certain manner? Join in the conversation and leave a comment below!
