2019 Year in Review

Woman holding a coffee latte

Have you ever thought about what took place over the past year?

Are you looking for some perspective and insight into how to live a more balanced life?

One of the best things you can do at the end of any calendar year is to review everything that happened, everything that didn’t…and make plans for the future.

It’s about being taking a moment to stop and smell the roses, celebrating what you’ve accomplished and are looking forward to accomplishing.

In this blog post, I offer an easy and unique way to review all that’s happened in 2019 through the lens of organization, time management, and productivity.

We’ll be traveling back through time and providing you with some thoughtful end-of-year self-reflection questions and encouragement to move forward.

So, are you ready to begin?

I thought as much! 🙂

Grab a nice hot beverage, your favorite notebook and a pen, and let’s get this 2019 year in review started!

Your 2019 Year in Review

Are you interested in organizing your home, managing your time, or improving your productivity levels?

This is the perfect time of year to reflect upon what took place the past year and make plans for a successful new year.

It’s as simple as taking a look at what you intended to accomplish, honestly examining what did or didn’t happen, and then making solid plans for the future.

For instance, maybe this year you intended to organize your kitchen cabinets. You didn’t complete the project as you had hoped, but upon reflection, you spent a lot of your time working on other projects throughout the year.

Moving forward, you might decide to research tips, tricks, and ideas, and schedule time in your calendar so you can complete your project.

And just like that, you’ve completed your quick organization year in review! It really is as simple as that.

Taking the time to acknowledge your past goals, evaluating your progress, and making plans for future success are a winning combination.

So what if you didn’t achieve your goals this past year? No problem! Just pick up your chin and keep going. It’s all about progress, and not perfection.

Are you ready to conduct your 2019 year in review? Choose one of the below scenarios that best describes your situation and answer the questions that follow:

I’m interested in being more organized…

  • Which organization project did you intend to complete this past year?
  • Did you complete your proposed project? What do you think lead to your success or prevented you from making your project a success?
  • What steps can you take right now to ensure your continued success or that you’ll take action on your organization project in future?

I’m interested in better managing my time…

  • Which time management concept or skill did you intend to practice this past year?
  • Did you practice your concept or skill on a regular basis? What do you think lead to your success or prevented you from achieving success?
  • What steps can you take right now to ensure your continued success or that you’ll take action on honing your skills in future?

I’m interested in better managing my productivity…
